Our research institute was established on March 31, 2017 for joint research on AI at Chungbuk National University and support Chungbuk’s institutes and businesses on developing related technologies. These days, AI technology is rapidly developing after getting spotlighted as the core technology for 4th industrial revolution. In response, there are increasing need for information exchange and search cooperation on related fields and AI technologies. To respond to such needs, our research institute tries to become a space where AI researchers interact and research together, cooperate with AI projects by company and related institutes, and serve as a counselor. Based on such cooperation, our research institute promises to strengthen research capacity of researchers at school, spread the latest AI technology to industrial field in Chungcheong regions to induce industrial development, and promote convergence between related studies, industries, and AI to establish academic and industrial development. We sincerely appreciate all supports and care for our research institute and we will try our best to become Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence that answers the encouragement and supports.
